[clippings0006] The pageant was expressly designed for the sanctuary of of First Congregational Church by Alice Holdship Ware . The pageant was first presented at the church on December 19, 1920. The 1944 pageant was directed by Mrs. Mel Pahl, Mr. Howard Van Vleck, Mr. John Cooper and Mrs. Charles Hemmersley.
