Warranty Deed Artemus Vangieson & Wife to The First Congregational Society of Montclair, April 1st, 1871

Received in the Register office of the County of Essex, N.J. on the 5th day of April A.D. 1871 at 4 o'clock in the after noon, and Recorded in Book O15 of DEEDS for said County on pages 273 + 274.

Beginning at the northeast corner of J.B. Beadle's lot, formerly belonging to Matthias Smith, on the west side of the road leading from opposite Philip Doremus's store to Orange, from thence along the west side of said road, north eighteen degrees, east one hundred and thirty-one feet to the corner of Samuel Boyd's lot, thence along the line thereof, north seventy-one degrees and thirty minutes west three hundred and ninety-one feet to the line of land formerly belonging to Joseph Crane, deceased, thence along the line thereof, south seventeen degrees, and thirty minutes west, one hundred and twenty feet to the line of said Beadle's lot, thence along the line thereof south seventy-one degrees, east three hundred and ninety-two feet to the place of beginning, containing ninety hundreths of an acre, more or less, being the same lands conveyed to the said Artemus Vangiesen by Helen Sigler, by deed dated March 26th, 1852, and recorded in book X 7, of deeds for Essex County, on pages 200 and 201, and being part of the same premises conveyed to the said Vangiesen in four several deeds, to wit: - one from Joseph Doremus and others, dated October 19, 1850; two of the same date from Peter Doremus and Wife, and one from Thomas L. Doremus and Emma H. Doremus, dated August 30, 1852, and respectively recorded in Book L 7, pages 41, &c.; L 7, pages 43, &c; and in Book G 11, pages 587 &c., of Deeds for Essex County.
